“I Made It” – LA Ft. Gucci Mane (New Music)
Minneapolis rapper LA has scored a big feature on his new single “I Made It,” getting some help from the ultra-prolific Trap God Gucci Mane.
Radric Davis popularly known as Gucci Mane is a southern-influenced rapper became known for his singles “Gucci Time” and “Wasted,” the latter of which hit #3 on the R&B Billboard. He notably had a role in the 2013 Harmony Korine film Spring Breakers.
Gucci Mane collaborated with hip hop artist T-Pain on the 2012 song “Act Up (Trap God).” The track is set to appear on Black Bag Entertainment’s upcoming compilation “The Drop, Vol. 1.”
LA definitely comes off as someone who may have been taking notes throughout Gucci Mane’s run, as he proves on a hook that is as simple as it is catchy. While the writing and structure of the aspirational record sound reminiscent of Gucci’s (or even Jeezy’s) well-worn formula
The song is set to appear on Black Bag Entertainment’s upcoming compilation The Drop, Vol. 1, which will feature contributions from Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, and Nipsey Hussle.
Their wedding was broadcast on BET in a special called TheMane Event. He released Mr. Davis, his second album of 2017, earlier this month. The project features guest appearances from The Weeknd, Migos, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Schoolboy Q, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Dolph, Slim Jxmmi, A$AP Rocky & more.
