Christopher Charles Lloyd, known by his musical name Lloyd Banks, is an American hip hop artist and member of the G-Unit group of the East Coast hip hop group, along with childhood friends and other American rappers, 50 Cent and Tony Yayo. Lloyd Banks released A New Song entitled “OverLoad”, he left high school in 1998. Banks released his first solo album The Hunger for More with the top ten single hit “On Fire”.
On September 10, 2001, Lloyd Banks was shot twice while leaving a nightclub in Southside Jamaica, Queens. He was beaten in the back and stomach, and ran to the nearest hospital after suffering injuries. He woke up the next morning to the news of the September 11 terrorist attacks and watched from his hospital bed as the twin towers fell to the ground. The banks were withdrawn from Interscope Records in 2009.
The banks issued a mixed series on the occasion of its 27th anniversary, which fell on April 30, 2009; It included the track “Officer Down” which dissected Rick Ross. Banks also launched a mixtape in 2009 called V5. In 2004, Banks won Mixtape Artist of the Year 2004 at the Mixtape Awards, Lloyd Banks sang so many songs, “The Hunter”, H.F.M, The Cold Corner, Rotten Apple, Failure’s No Option.
